SkillUp, through its foundation arm (The SkillUp Foundation) and partnerships tied to SkillUp Global has built a strong presence across ASEAN, focusing on digital upskilling for young people and educators in under-served communities. Their core model is a 3-in-1 platform that combines free or accessible online courses, hands-on skill-building, internships/job pathways, and heavy emphasis on emerging fields like AI, STEM (science, technology, engineering, math), digital technologies, and sustainability.

They partner with big names such as Deloitte (via WorldClass), AWS, IBM, SEAMEO STEM-ED, and various schools/universities to deliver industry-aligned content that actually leads to real opportunities. What stands out most is the scale they’ve achieved in a relatively short time: SkillUp upskilled more than 200,000 high school and young students across Southeast Asia.

This includes providing access to cutting-edge training in AI fundamentals, STEM applications, digital literacy, and sustainability—skills designed to help learners from low-income or rural backgrounds compete in modern job markets. Over 5,000 teachers have been directly impacted through professional development programs, certifications, and workshops. More specifically, they’ve certified thousands of educators, equipping them with modern teaching tools, digital integration strategies, and career-guidance methods. This creates a ripple effect, as trained teachers bring better instruction to far more students annually.

Skillup have collaborated with 138+ schools and educational institutions, 75+ partners in education, and 22+ global companies to roll out these programs, often providing free platform access to institutions. A flagship effort is the INSPIRE Programme (launched in early 2026 with SEAMEO STEM-ED), a multi-year regional push that phases in online learning, practical STEM experiences, teacher training, digital career navigation, and certifications. It targets key pathways like Advanced Manufacturing, IT Careers, Smart AgriTech, and Health & Medical Technology—aligning directly with ASEAN’s growing industries.

Free or low-barrier online courses: Self-paced, gamified, and industry-aligned, often provided in partnership with global giants like Deloitte (via WorldClass), AWS, IBM, and others.
