ABOUT

ASDAN is a UK-based education charity and awarding organisation on a mission to engage, elevate and empower learners with diverse needs.

ASDAN offers a wide variety of flexible, adaptable courses for learners working at pre-Entry to Level 3. Its regulated qualifications and accredited programmes enable learners to achieve meaningful learning outcomes, supporting progression to further education, training or work, and empowering them to take control of their lives.

Through contextualised, real-world learning approaches, ASDAN courses help learners discover and develop their personal abilities and identities. ASDAN works with education settings internationally, supporting learners of all abilities through practical, skills-based learning.

ASDAN provides programmes and qualifications that support learners to develop personal abilities, build confidence and achieve meaningful learning outcomes across a wide range of education settings.

Its curriculum is based on contextualised, real-world learning approaches that enable learners to discover and develop their strengths and identities.

Courses are designed to support engagement and help learners apply their skills in practical contexts, preparing them for education, employment and life.

All ASDAN courses are structured around a ‘plan, do, review’ cycle. Learners plan activities, carry them out and reflect on their progress, supporting ownership of learning and recognising achievement at every stage.

At the heart of ASDAN’s curriculum are six core skills: learning, communicating, decision making, thinking, team working and self-awareness. These underpin all ASDAN’s programmes and qualifications and support learners to develop confidence, resilience and independence.

ASDAN is delivered in over 40 countries and territories, supporting tens of thousands of learners globally each year.
