Representative organisation for technical vocational education and training (TVET) institutions in Wales, UK.

CollegesWales/ColegauCymru is the national organisation that represents all 12 vocational education and training (VET) colleges in Wales. CollegesWales (UK) International is the international arm of CollegesWales and supports its member colleges in the development of international and European activity.

CollegesWales works closely with the Welsh and UK government, British Council and other organisations to encourage overseas collaboration for the TVET sector in Wales.

CollegesWales (UK) International has:

in-depth knowledge of the TVET sector in Wales
detailed information on the areas of specialism of its member colleges
named contacts in each member college who can respond quickly to international opportunities
the ability to broker partnerships between TVET organisations in Wales and overseas
the capacity to bring consortia of colleges together in Wales to undertake larger overseas work

CollegesWales (UK) International is:

the National Contact Point in Wales for the European Qualifications Framework (EQF), the European Credit Transfer System for Vocational Education and Training (ECVET) and European Quality Assurance in VET (EQAVET).
a centralised coordination point and the lead organisation on a range of national projects that support overseas continuous professional development for staff and mobility opportunities for vocational learners and apprentices
