ABOUT

To be competitive and productive, 21st Century employees need more than technical ability. They need human skills: a stable foundation of leadership, resilience, and creative and critical thinking skills that automation and AI cannot replicate.

Vitruvia is a UK EdTech company with a unique human skills training ecosystem on a mission to equip people with the capabilities, confidence and capacity required to contribute meaningfully to national, regional, and organisational growth strategies, and fulfil their personal and professional potential.

Vitruvia delivers micro modules via The Quad, a learning platform underpinned by Vitruvia’s Human Skills Matrix, which enables learners, including those with additional needs, to develop and evidence the human skills they need to shape, strengthen and sustain their careers.

Vitruvia designs and delivers digital human skills training programmes for Government agencies, sector bodies and businesses so that their citizens, students and employees can develop the essential, universally recognised qualities and abilities that only humans possess. Vitruvia’s human skills training provision includes leadership, self-regulation, verbal communication, collaborative working and creative thinking skills.

Vitruvia works with Governments to expand opportunity and enable inclusion, tailoring solutions to engage;

  • School leavers looking to transition into further training
  • Graduates looking for professional positions
  • Women returning to or entering the workplace
  • Individuals with additional learning needs who have the potential to contribute

Vitruvia is commissioned by commercial clients to meet their strategic needs for sustainability and growth, such as:

  • To increase sector visibility and highlight entry pathways to school-age talent with career inspiration content that teaches foundational human skills
  • Upskill existing employees with leadership potential
  • Promote their sector to graduates with key information and bespoke human skills training for employability

Vitruvia’s existing human skills curriculum is accessed via subscription; education and training providers enroll learners who complete micro modules to prepare to enter the workforce, ensure competitiveness or meet an identified skills profile such as for a job or promotion.

Vitruvia’s human skills training ecosystem encompasses:

  • An academic frame of reference named the Human Skills Matrix. This matrix underpins the training programmes, categorising skills into two groups: cognitive and metacognitive, and social and emotional. Competencies are assigned to each sub-skill.
  • Vitruvia’s unique blended teaching and coaching pedagogy, which forms the basis of each programme, ensures learners are empowered to recognise and build on the learning they gain.
  • Vitruvia’s learning platform, The Quad, where learners follow a prescribed course, or create a personalised curriculum comprising differentiated multimedia micro modules to meet their needs.
  • The generation of a portfolio of evidence of skills acquisition and practice that enables career progression.

Vitruvia’s human skills training ecosystem generates engagement and outcomes data analytics relating to skills deficit and progression, and learner engagement and evaluation, for use by commissioners and educators in a range of ways:

  • To identify engaged or high-potential participants and offer them fast track pathways, tailor outreach events and provide further opportunities
  • As evidence to inform future policy and funding allocation
  • As a tool to unlock social mobility by evidencing skills deficits and enabling targeted support
  • To support human resource planning
  • To evidence a return on investment
  • Cognitive and metacognitive human skills training including adaptability, critical thinking and learning strategies
  • Social and emotional human skills training including leadership, communication and collaboration
  • Learning activities and achievements are recorded, evidenced against competencies, and rewarded with badges and certificates
  • Government agencies and private sector clients commission bespoke human skills training programmes for organisation, sector or national level impact
  • Education and training centres build human skills programmes from the Vitruvia curriculum to meet their learners’ specific skills needs
  • Vitruvia’s human skills ecosystem produces data analytics to inform strategy, policy and funding decision-making, and evidence ROI
Sorry - there are no case studies here yet, but there will be very soon, so do check back!
