ABOUT
East Coast College is a well-established further education college with campuses in Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth, offering a fantastic breadth and depth of subjects and technical and professional training for schools leavers and adults up to degree level. Its Lowestoft campus also includes a sixth form college, allowing it to offer an even broader academic curriculum with fantastic progression opportunities to apprenticeships and university.

With specialist maritime, energy and offshore training centres, combined with commercial training and a partnership with University of Suffolk, the college has become a centre of excellence for energy, engineering and offshore skills training.

Using its specialist Energy Skills Centre resources and sector trainer, East Coast College are able to offer qualifications, as well as bespoke training for delegates and employers.

East Coast College has supported global companies to develop and host curriculum for teams across Europe to undertake training and inter-company assessments.

East Coast College has been widely recognised for its work in expanding global opportunities for learners, notably through the UK government’s Turing Scheme. In May 2024, Assistant Principal Holly Chase and Curriculum Manager Helene Quin attended a royal garden party at Buckingham Palace in honour of the college’s achievements in facilitating overseas educational experiences.
