The College, like Scotland as a nation, is a real melting pot of diversity, equality and excellence with a long history of welcoming all ages, backgrounds, and cultures. Its students reflect our vision that learning should be available to all.
Technical and Vocational education plays an important role in producing skilled workers and plays a valuable role in economic growth and to keep the nation’s unemployment rate at a low level. COGC has delivered education and training for 6 decades and is well respected and known for providing high quality vocational education and training globally. This means COGC is in a strong position to support international partners in developing their skills base for a thriving economy and ambitious growth.
COCG believes they are extremely well placed to offer a suite of employment-related, skills-based training programmes to match targeted re- and/or up-skilling demand to support local, national and international economies. COGC’s experience in engaging with industry sectors to identify skills gaps and develop pedagogical processes to embed industry content to our programmes will be of value to international partners to support increased employer interaction, including curriculum inputs and apprenticeships.
