Quality Assurance in Malaysian Colleges
Summary
Working with a local Malaysian agent to implement Quality Assurance in a number of local colleges across Malaysia.
Teaming up with our agent, A & E College PVT, has allowed us to access new markets in Malaysia and off the back of the QA work, has allowed us to promote our organisation and services on a wider scale.
GLLM are providing a range of services to local Malaysian colleges to enable the delivery of the Quality Assurance services, comprising of:
- Initial scrutiny of Partner Malaysian college curriculums by GLLM
- GLLM sends our experienced and skilled staff for in-country inception college visits
- Provide trainer briefing
- Provide access to our resources for the purposes of QA
- Supply full Quality Assurance services specifications
- Create local student assessment plan for academic year
- Supply exemplar unit assessment brief and brief template
- Provide unit assessment brief moderation and internal verification
- Assess and train local Internal Verifiers (IV) and create sampling plan
- Confirm sampling plan with local colleges
- GLLM to lead IV samples of learner work
- Feedback to local Malaysian colleges so they can improve
Standardise and improve the quality of courses, content, consistency and accuracy in various private Malaysian colleges. Off the back of this is has allowed us to implement degree progression in the colleges, providing students with more opportunities to come and complete degrees in the UK.
This has increased student enrollment numbers from overseas for GLLM, increased external revenue for our International Department and also provided new marketing and public relations opportunities for GLLM in Malaysia.
